Kristina and Molly hosted a lovely baby shower for us this weekend. Even though there weren’t a lot of people there, it was way fun and nice to spend time with the extended family.

In playing baby games it has come to our attention that Shad cannot identify a bottle brush and Aunt Tee thinks that my waist is the same circumference as that of a 7 month pregnant horse (seriously, her string was like 4 feet long! But Shad was spot on, so it makes up for it)

We got lovely, useful gifts (none of that “Oh, this is nice!…Trash can!” stuff). We got the wonderful Sit and Stand stroller we wanted! Sophie and her baby Emma have been breaking it in, along with all of the other things that we got for the new baby. With all of the “borrowing” Sophie is doing and all of the kicking that Lillie is doing, Shad and I are certainly going to have our hands full with these two. But of course, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
