We took a trip to Portland this weekend, but managed to take exactly zero pictures. It is too bad, because we had a great time and did lots of fun stuff.

On Saturday, while Becky was off shopping for a new dress, Sophie and I took a  trip downtown on the max. We played around in pioneer courthouse square and rode the escalators up and down in pioneer place mall. On the way back to Beaverton we stopped at the zoo. There is a cool max stop underground there, and it was fun to get out and explore. We met Jason and Kristina and Noah and Julia and spent a couple hours wandering around the zoo. There were about a thousand good photo opportunities, but I didn’t have the camera so I didn’t get to take advantage of any of them.

On Saturday night Becky and I went out to the Genoa for a superb dinner. I’ll let her tell more about it if she wants but it was mind-blowing good food and made for a great dinner for our anniversary. Sophie got to spend the night at Grand-dad’s house and seemed to have a pretty darned good time, because she cried for a good 20 minutes when it was time to leave.

Anyway, sorry we don’t have pictures, but rest assured that we did have a wonderful weekend.
