Napoli: days 3 and 4

Saturday was a quiet day for us because the girls were really overtired and needed some down time. Becky went out and got her hair done at an Italian salon while James and I took the girls up to explore a little hilltop neighborhood (the name of which escapes me now). Becky’s haircut looks fantastic, but we decided it was too cold to spend much more of the day out, so we hung around at home and took a long nap. That set us up for a wonderful dinner out at a seafood restaurant with some of James’ friends. This was the nicest dinner we’ve been to and was really fantastic. There was an absolutely enormouse assortment of antipastis, then I had monkfish with past while becky had fruits-de-mer. We went out for gelatto afterwards and didn’t make it home until around midnight. Having had a nice nap in the afternoon, the girls were perfectly behaved. Lillie even attracted the attention of a young italian boy (maybe 3 or 4 years old?) named Vittorio who kept trying to give her kisses. Really a fun evening.

James’ flat has a little bidet which doesn’t see any real use. It is the perfect height for Lillie though, so she has adopted it as her own sink. She’s really cute using it to brush her teeth.

Well, I’ve run out of time to blog, so I won’t write about yesterday yet, but here are some pictures from the Flavio amphitheater at Puzzuoli.

Did you purposely get your hair cut like Sally?
